How to apply for internships at the FES Philippines
For young people, international and local students (who have either completed at least the first three years of their studies or recently graduated) who want to experience the working environment of a political foundation, the Philippine Office of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung regularly offers internships.
A study background in political science, sociology, communications, economics or related areas of study has proven to be most advantageous. Those with interest in international cooperation and/or are engaged in socio-political organizations like trade unions, youth organizations, women’s organizations, and political parties are especially welcome to apply.
Applicants should be open-minded to local culture and be able to adapt to different situations and challenges.

Besides participation in seminars and workshops, research and writing of texts and papers, assistance in daily office work, it is possible to identify an area of particular interest. The duration of the internship should not be less than 3 months and should not be more than 6 months for foreign interns; and not be less than 1 month for local interns.
Due to internal regulations, FES cannot offer any compensation for the internship and any internship-related expenses.

Please send your application and the required documents by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Moreover, application should be emailed to FES at least six (6) months for foreign interns, or at least one (1) month for local interns, prior to the target starting date of the internship.
