The newly published book of FES entitled Reforming the Philippine Political Party System will be launched in the event. The book offers insights on the state of political party development in the Philippines and offer suggestions to push forward the political party strengthening advocacy.

A panel discussion on "How can Political Parties make themselves relevant in the 2010 Elections?" will follow. Notable personalities from major political parties in the country will reflect on necessary undertakings in order to transcend the personalistic nature of Philippine politics.
